The food was again excellent and the service very nice, always worth a visit. The products regional and fresh, just great.

French fries so hard that you couldn't pierce them, under the table a lot of leftovers, the table was already cleared even though someone was still eating.

The inn offers delicious food. It is located in the Sababurg Zoo, which is highly recommended. Unfortunately, outside in the beer garden, beer bottles hang on the fence as wasp traps. Wasps are under federal nature conservation and killing these small animals is prohibited. Especially in a zoo, love for animals should have a high priority.

A stop at the "Sababurg" zoo is highly recommended! Delicious food (quite inexpensive) and drinks are brought by friendly staff! You should take the time to visit!

The grill buffet was great.

Eating without words !!!! So-called. Strohschweinschnitzel = dry like straw Game goulash) boiled, indefinable mass, cranberries attraction for wasps! The only good thing was the salad. But couldn't be eaten because of the 10 or so wasps. See video No wasp traps available! If you have a complaint, the friendly wait staff will reply: "I will pass it on"

A historical half-timbered building in very beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately the service was very unfriendly and surly. As a guest you had the feeling that you weren't welcome. It's a shame, we will forego further visits to the inn. We and our guests expected more. Seldom have we been received so inhospitably. Pity!

Great ambience under trees in front of a beautiful half-timbered house. Nice service staff. The food was very tasty, regional dishes and a small menu. The baked potato and the schnitzel from the special breed of pork. Latte was delicious too. Gladly again.

A wonderful day! We moved the children's birthday party to the zoo and got lunch and coffee here. We made reservations beforehand and got super delicious food combined with a very nice service. We would like to come again.

Thank god I got another table. The menu with the duck was fantastic. Rarely eaten so well. The whole day was very successful with zoo and the stay in the inn. Thanks for that

Delicious good Cuisine in a nice ambience.

Delicious German cuisine at the foot of the Sababurg. The employees are extremely attentive and fond of children. My favorite are the tomary soup and the schnitzel with mushroom sauce.

We celebrated our wedding in the Elk Lodge. The innkeeper has given us many good tips for the planning of the festival in advance. The room was well prepared and decorated. The service was fast and friendly. The food, a BBQ buffet, was delicious and there was something for every taste. Especially nice is that products are sourced from the region. Overall, highly recommended!

We recommend ! Of course, the tables were partly derogatory, and then the cutlery slipped off the table ... hihi ... but the beer stopped. :-) Very well prepared rump steak, tender inside, crispy outside, super seasoned; like with the specialist !! Then the initially skeptical price is justified.
